 salutes the Seville bullring president after cutting on ear on his second bull and taking a victory lap during Padilla\'s retirement bullfight in the Rael Maestranza bullring in Seville, Spain, 29 September 2018. Padilla cut one ear from his second bull of the afternoon from the ranch of Garcia Jimenez. Padilla lost an eye to a bad goring some years ago and since has suffered several additional serious gorings and now has fought his final bullfight in one of Spain\'s premier bullrings, La Real Maestranza. <br />\r\nA brilliant afternoon filled with emotion. Khan al-Ahmar is a Bedouin community where some 180 people live in shacks, that Israeli authorities claim were built without obtaining permits. Israeli authorities plan to demolish the shacks after the Israeli High Court of Justice rejected petitions filed by Khan al-Ahmar residents against their evacuation. , near Kibbutz Beit Alpha in northern Israel, 22 August 2018, on a hot day when Muslims celebrate Eid al-Adha, the holiest of the two Muslim holidays celebrated each year, marking the pilgrimage (Hajj) to visit Mecca, the holiest place in Islam.<br />\r\n<br />\r\nA very hot spell in August...nothing really new. But how to make a nice, new photo from the day, I wondered. Asked my wife and she suggested a trip up north to Sakhne - what a grand idea. Wonderful crowded park with all sorts of swimmers and people enjoying a break and a holiday. Shot on gfx50S, with a slow shutter speed, balanced on my legs. Worked. This image would look great really large...anyone want to buy a print?',700,700);)
 and Geula Rabi with some of their children as they walk along the Israeli separation fence, or wall, in Kibbutz Kerem Shalom, on the southern most part of Israel where it joins the Gaza Strip and Egypt, on 03 August 2018. The Rabis had moved into this nearly deserted agricultural community, the closest community to the Gaza Strip (on other side of the wall) a few days before, along with some 12 other families. The art work on the separation wall is a copy of the Pink floyd album cover The Wall, which was released in 1979 and is one of the best selling albums of all time. Guela Rabi lived in the Gush Katif settlement area in the Gaza Strip and was evacuated during the \'disengagement\' of the Israeli settlements and soldiers in the Gush Katif area of the Gaza Strip in 2005.<br />\r\n<br />\r\nPut some music to this photo - loud.  as they round a corner in a night run 10 July 2018 from their corrals to a corral in the city of Pamplona where they will spend the night quiet until they are released into the city streets in the morning\'s \'encierro\', or running-with-the-nulls in the Fiesta de San Fermín in Pamplona, northern Spain, 10 July 2018. The 204-hour long festival in Pamplona, northern Spain, made internationally famous by American novelist Ernest Hemingway in his 1926 novel The Sun Also Rises features a bull-run in the morning a d a bullfight in the afternoon, amid almost non-stop partying, during the eight days of the festival.<br />\r\nThe good part of shooting this picture was that it was from the balcony of a wonderful new restaurant above the elevator taking people down to the lower reqaches of the city where the bulls run in the evening, lone nd quite. After shooting the photos some friends and I had a great meal and wines, as I transmitted a few photos. It should take place when a little darker, but glad we got there early enough and it was still fading last daylight. The restaurant is called El Buho and well worth it.',700,700);){kind=spacer}
