 in Arab East Jerusalem as the area is closed down following a Palestinian knife attack against Israeli police, 19 February 2016. A 20-year-old Palestinian attacker from the West Bank, north of Jerusalem, was shot dead after he lightly stabbed two Israeli Border Police at the entrance into Jerusalem\'s Old City. , 18 February 2016 as the scene of a Palestinian knife attack is investigated. Two West Bank Palestinian youths entered the supermarket and stabbed two Israelis, one seriously, before being shot and wounded but not killed by an Israeli civilian, as shoppers held the attackers at bay with shopping carts, according to witnesses. The wounded Palestinian attackers were also taken to an Israeli hospital for treatment.One of the Israelis, a 21-year-old off duty soldier, died from his wounds.',700,700);)

Israel has deployed some 2000 Border Police and Riot Police in East Jerusalem and the Old City during the recent wave of Palestinian stabbing attacks against Israelis and security personnel.
